It’s much too quiet
Alone with my thoughts again
That’s a scary place

 

This pull of my heart
Broke me from my reverie
I cannot go back

I watch the smoke swirl
Outlining you in its haze
But you are not there

You are my anchor
My solace, my gravity
You are home to me

The clocks slow ticking
